I’m almost finished building my LiFoPo auxiliary battery and associated electrical. Now, I’ve got to figure out how to secure it in my JKU. My battery is going in a re-purposed plastic toolbox. Please share how you’ve done yours. Is a hard mount directly to the floor better? How about some sort of cushioned something on springs. Did you use seat belt webbing (or equiv) and footman loops bolted to floor? If not, what? With all the commercially available aux power systems being sold, there are surely some good ways to hold one down on rough trails. Please help keep me from having to invent something that’s already being done.
