Awning Advice from Andrew White

I have to disagree with one thing he said, and that is that a 270 degree awning is not great if you are going to leave your rig in one position the whole trip.
When I used my Eezi-Awn Bat 270 awning at Mount Rainier last August, I did not move the rig, and I had very good protection from the sun the whole time.

I'm not sure what it is that bothers me about this video - if it's his not completing sentences or jumping around so much or his excuse for a previous video or what it is. He must have got some serious criticism...lol. Anyway, yeah, he's got a valid point or two, but not anything that someone with common sense already knows. I usually survey the campsite with sun angles in mind before setup, with the idea that the vehicle doesn't get moved until leaving. Not the best idea for mobility, but that's RTT and awning strategy when they're mounted on your rig. And I think that will, for the most part, be the same after I get an off road trailer. The nice thing will be the freedom of more mobility when the camp is setup, with a vehicle that now, can be used with out affecting your camp setup, provided that you disco vehicle...lol.
