Saw the write-up on the BunduAwn on the main page and wondered if anyone has experience with this awning? It has quite a bit of coolness going on (no poles, lines, or stakes needed, huge coverage, etc.) and may take care of concerns about the Batwing/Foxwing-style awnings, but I don't see much info on the materials it's built with. It's also huge when stored - from what I can see, about 96" long by 10" tall (unknown depth). Anyone in So Cal have one to check out?
I'm also looking at So-Cal Trailers' Scipio awning and annex. The Scipio is similar to the Hannibal Safari awning and also eschews Wow1: wow, word of the day! ) poles, lines, and stakes. It's a bit smaller at 6' in length, but it would likely look better when stored.
I'm hoping to order a UMV J30 top in the near future and am looking for the best awning solution to compliment the top; these two are currently high on my list, and while I can't say money is no object, I'm willing to spend a bit more now if I'll have years of use out of something (buy once, cry once).
Thoughts?
