Awning Gas-Assisted Lift ID

My brother saw this mounted on a Patriot trailer recently, but he forgot to ask about it.

Anyone know who makes this awning lift? Proprietary to Patriot?

Looks very much more stout than Patriot's design. do you have the ability to use the door/window that is against the back of the awning?

Yes... the next time I set it up, I'll grab a photo of it. FWIW - the awning raises to approx 6'6".

Hey folks - im looking to do something similar for an awning lift. Was JJ's awning lift a custom modification? Any ideas on how to create an awning lift - either pneumatic or manual lift? All ideas are appreciated!
