Axle choice?

I am in the midst of researching replacing the axle on my bantam tc3. Main reason is to match the bolt pattern on my Jeep LJ, so I need an axle with a 4.5x5 pattern. Just need a good straight axle, with hubs, complete and ready to bolt on. I will be sticking with the stock springs. Suggestions?

Most any trailer place should be able to order you an axle. Now would be the time to get it the width you want based on the wheels and tires you're planning on using. And if you're wanting to get electric brakes, now's the time to do that too. Go with a 3500lb axle and you'll never have to wonder if it is strong enough.

You're welcome. I'm running one of their 3500lb axles with the electric brakes on the little trailer I put together. We recently took it on a 10,000 mile trip (TX to MT to Inuvik Canada to Seattle and back to Ft Hood, TX) with zero axle issues. I also bought a spare hub with greased bearings to bring on the trip "just in case". Cheap insurance having a spare hub and bearings.
