Axle Flip without Welding

I am looking to flip the axle on my 4x6 CarryOn trailer that has a camber in its axle. Is there anyway to do this without welding a new spring perch on top of the axle? Unfortunately I don't have access to a welder.

I was looking at the K71-384-00 kit from e-trailer.com but they say it should be welded in place:

Thanks for any help

As you know ideally it should be welded. If the trailer has brakes it must be welded. If no brakes you may be able to tighten the u bolts enough to keep chamber in the correct orentation. Hope this helps.

The spring perches are needed to center the axle on the spring center pin.
There are kits that have bolts and stops that mount flush to the original spring pads.
Find a trade school, weld shop or neighbor that has a welder and do it right.

no welding required!

welding? we don't need no stinkin welding! Just one additional plate through bolted under the original perch. Bolts look bent due to wide angle lens but are straight.

Thanks all, I don't have trailer brakes so I will probably just bolt it up temporarily until I find someone to weld it or upgrade axles.

Did you see my post above? Been towing it that way for years without a problem. There is no need to weld new perches, just use the old ones already welded on to bottom of the axle.

Verdesardog, yes thanks. Got new perches and will be doing something similar.
