Back from Expo...looking for 4 door Jeep

Thanks all....pulled the trigger on A 2013 sport with rubicon wheels and tires....will post pics soon....another jeep in the stable!

Congrats! Despite other comments, the new motor alone is worth it, it's not just a gearing issue. Look forward to seeing the pics, mine is still about 4 weeks out.

congrats on the new purchase!! With the current prices of the used ones you can get a new one with the added peace of mind.

Google anything and you will find issues with it. With the numbers of JK's out there, the 3.8 engine problems are minimal. My '07 has been great even with 35's. I may not be able to pass a car, but I can climb up a mountain.:wings:

OP, I was parked right next to you on day one in a green Taco.

Your rig is at 1:35 in my video.

2011 is too much better then all the models i really like...

Unfortunately the 2011 model year is kind of the bastard child of the JKs. New interior, new ECU coding, old engine. The new ECU coding means that all the programmers that work on the 07-10 model years will not work, so you're stuck with the crappy 3.8 that you can't tune.

Personally I'd either get a 2010, or a 2012+.

Nice!

I think you'll be a lot happier with the 13 than a pre 12. The 3.6L is a great motor, get decent mileage, and the 5 speed auto is a perfect match.
