I love how they call this area the "Coastal Empire", by the way. :sombrero:
Getting back into the Rover game, finally, mercifully -- people talk about the Rover bug, and, well, I sold my 96 DI in 2004 and it has never left me. Must. Own. Another. I had a $35k budget and looked at every LX/GX, Toyota, LR3, even *gasp* LR4, and there was nothing that did it for me like a '94-'99 Disco I, baby. That is the only truck that will match the epaulets on my safari shirt(s).
Looks like I got a lead on a '95 DI (check goes out tomorrow :wings
with cool touches like manual seats and, oh, a clean-looking 6.2L Detroit diesel stuffed under the hood mated to a 5-spd R380.
I just got back from a year in Afghanistan, so I'm flush with cash and can't wait to do my own build thread. Rovertracks, Rovertym, Terrafirm, look out, 'cause this dude is about to drop a bunch of K making sure I look good at the Oglethorpe Mall. You're all in my spreadsheet somewhere.
Anyway, the diesel I can figure out myself, but eventually there will be some sort of Rover problem that will boggle my mind.
Anyone of repute working IVO Savannah to un-******** my ******** when it happens?
