Also much smaller project but after trying to back up the trailer in the most pitch black dark of night I picked this harness up.

It goes in between the 7 pin trailer plug harness and the faceplate so it should be plug and play. I really only want it for reverse lights but should also work for turn signals so I'll just shoot the line and make the bulb for reverse amber or white and the bulb for turning and brakes red.
You don't have rear facing light mounted to your bed rack?

Okay, really loving the setup so far, but I think one of the tires is super out of round. Had some planned maintenance done and told the shop about how I thought I might of thrown a balancing weight so they took a look and first time around on the road force balancer it was 58 lbs, then they rotated the tire on the rim and got it down to 30 lbs. Still too much. They balanced it the best they could and put it on the rear axle but I can feel it being bumpy. At least its not on the front shaking the entire truck. I'll try to warranty it this week.

Definitely do! I had one of my Toyos that didn't feel right. Was almost 50. They tried everything, but eventually ordered a new one which ballanced perfect like the others.

Talked with BFG, they asked me to go back to the original place of purchase for an inspection (they also said any authorized dealer should work if that wasn't an option), so I called the shop and they got on the schedule for Wednesday. Talked with the shop that did the second batch of balancing and I guess I hadn't fully recognized the issue. BOTH back tires were high out of spec on the road force balancer. Driver's side rear was 39, and passengers side was 53. Obviously that won't do. I can almost describe it as a gallop, and if both tires were out of round but offset that may make sense.

BFG said at first they'll try to probably move the wheel on the rim a bit to see if that helps, if not we will go with new tires until they dont suck. Even the old worn out X3s were smoother than this.

BTW if anyone of you guys want those wheels I'm selling them. Beadlocks are gone already but I still have the beauty rings. I have the factory ford raptor shocks available too as well as the 09-14 F150 titanium lugs.

I still don’t understand how bfg sells so well( ok I do it’s a iconic tire brand with fantastic marketing ) , I didn't run a set for 20 years for the same reason after having them change out 4 tires for being out of round I gave up on them but needed tires on a truck like 8 years ago and bfg was all they had in stock … same problem one wouldn’t balance even after rotating it on the rim 3x to try to fix the problem.

Yeah I think its name recognition. I read a lot of good things about the KM3 so I had no reason to believe they were problematic, but after having this pop up I realize a bunch of people have had issues.

All that being said, 1 tire ended up being warrantied. They had another on hand and I drove out with that. The other tire was unseated and reseated on the bead in a different position and got back into spec. Driving is definitely better. No gallop or major vibes from the back end. I'm happy with it.

Lol remember the issue I had? Insane wobbling from 55 to 75 MPH. Easily 20% of my "build thread" is related to tire issues haha.
It happens! Its funny because the shop like 90% of their "bad tires" are usually just a wheel weight that gets thrown off within the first 100 miles or so, so to get an actually bad tire they were pretty excited!

55 to 75 should be a balance issue, but like... you know thats not the case!
