Visited Rock Glen Conservatory in Arkona, Ontario, about 40 minutes from London. It was lovely. They have two sets of waterfalls, the upper falls is about 30 feet tall and the lower falls are about 8 feet tall, but have a really cool ledge to them. Ended up taking back roads on my way home and ended up with a nice little coating.
In preparation for some deep cleaning I ended up unpacking the bed as it was a mess from bouncing around going through those back country roads.
Found some corrosion on my A-pillar light mounts that really started to bug me so I pulled those and sanded and painted them.
Lastly I ended up doing a fluid change on my power steering since it hadn't been done in well over a year. Thankfully its pretty easy swap, with filter and reservoir drained and new filter in a quart fills her up real good. I was a little bummed because I swapped in the K&N HP1002 filter (same as I had before) without even thinking about putting a larger filter on. I now know the HP2009 filter has all the same stats for PSI and such but is about 2.5 inches longer... and we all know every inch counts!
I have been a little bummed that some of my grand trip plans have been derailed by different things (a/c compressor failure, VA appointments, family commitments) but hey I don't start my next job until August 1st and I'm taking full advantage, even if its driving 40 minutes away to a KOA to camp and drink with my high school buddies! Gotta take full advantage after not being home for over a decade! Tomorrow unpack, wash and reattach the lights day! I'm very excited.
