baja 1000 "prerun" oct 21-22

sorry for the late notice

a couple of my friends and I are going to go check out a portion of the course of this year's baja 1000 to see where good spectating spots will be and just go driving around and camping in Baja. possibly get as far as San Felipe. check out this thread here - http://ttora.com/forum/showthread.php?t=48156

so far we have 2 4x4 trucks for sure and possibly one long-travel 2wd truck going

Are you planning to go south of San Felipe? if so, are you planning on going south to Punta Bufeo?

I don't know exactly. The guy leading the run (Miguelitro on TTORA forum) said that on Sunday if we want to, we'll continue going south in the direction of San Felipe and Santo Tomas. That is all I know. if you need more details, I can send a message to miguelitro and ask him. what is in Punta Bufeo?

Well the Baja 1000 should run thru Cocos Corner and Punta Bufeo!

sounds like alot of fun. Some friends have a race truck and do the race every year, I'd love to go sometime, and especially pre-run it! I've heard the course is in really bad shape so it will be a challenge to get through. I'm unfortunately working this weekend so I'm missing 2 things -- bummer!
