Baja expedition rack

I was looking at the Sierra Expeditions website and noticed the Baja Expedition Rack. I was wondering if it is big enough to put a rtt on it and still have some storage space. Not able to lower my rear seats because I have 2 little ones who will be going with me. Has anyone used this or no of any one who has. I know I'll have to upgrade my bars on my Kj to support the rack.:smiley_drive:

I think you are looking for the EXP rack, which is setup to mount a RTT and have a storage space in the front area. Here's the link http://www.bajarack.com/exp.html

You need a flat rack to mount an RTT ( or have a set of legs/cross bars made like Seth did on his) and with their size it would take up the better portion of the top of the Libby so not much extra room for storage.

If it is wide enough you could just cut the back portion of the rack out. Then you would have full sides that the RTT would fit between. This would give some protection to the RTT, but also allow you to easily mount items such as shovels, Axes and Hi-lifts. This is all depended on the interior width of the basket and the width of the tent you want to use.
