I love the ladders on the GOBI, but my main purpose like I stated earlier was for my maggiolina rtt and that you have to enter from the side. I also love that I have a solid platform to move stuff with this flat roof.

As in life one must pick one's battles wisely.

Does that mean it wouldn't work with a soft top?

Cool, thanks. What I might do as well is just leave it off when using the soft top unless I need it. just keep the brackets to mount it quick.

Talked with a man in the know and he said all good to tilt back, just dont overtilt and pretty much make sure u have a good support under it seeing as the top is pretty heavy. I still have not tried seeing as it is still the rainy season up here and my soft top is still in winter storage.

Had a slight bend in the air deflector from the shipping company, told Baja and sent a few pics and they seny me a new one with no hassel. These guys really stand behind their customers and the products they sell. Happy guy here

I emailed them a few weeks ago after seeing this post about whether they planned on building one for a 2 door JK. They got back to me pretty quick and said they have it on the list but haven't gotten to it yet. Maybe they'll have it done when I decide whether I want to really get one or not.

I'm sure as with everything numbers talk, maybe you could get a group buy going on with them and see how many numbers it would take to have a special run made. It's not like you are asking for a special performance part to be made.

IMO, this is the best full roof rack available for our Jeeps. Its low profile build is great for daily drivers who go adventuring on the weekends.

Hey RSB, since you have had the BR UT on for a while now, Did you notice any lowering of the MPG and is there much wind noise from it?

I really dont notice any noise, maybe a slight hint but nothing that grabs my attention. My MPG well its a jeeps and city driving kicks its *** anyway, I'm heading to Colorado from here on vacation in June with it loaded with an awning and Maggiolina RTT so I will get a more accurate assessment then.

im figuring no more than a 1mpg difference because of its low profile.

Yeah I vanpool a super lot so I only drive 4 miles round trip so my indicator sucks for avg fuel economy

I avg 20.6 mpg on a recent trip. about 600 kms lots of hills, mix of city and highway driving. modest weight in back.

I have a manual don't know if that makes a difference. Good thing is this set up can come off fairly easily w some help and u can just leave the rear supports connected and they would not be that noticeable
