Balancing - Trailer wheel and tire

Looking for an opinion here. Will likely be replacing the Michelin XLsomethings that came with trailer with new tires.

Should the trailer tire/wheel combo be balanced or is it not necessary when mounting new tires?

I am currently trying 6 oz. of Airsoft pellets in each tire on my trailer. They have been working well in a set of truck tires and my bike uses Dyna Beads. Easy to install and replace. Dynamic balancing. I'll know more in two weeks :)

Anyone do high-speed, on the axle balancing? Takes out ALL the dynamic vibration from the drive train....I get it done at a (semi)truck repair place.

I used to know Porsche people who paid hundreds of dollars for wheel alignments accurate to within 0.01°. They thought it would make them faster, and their Porsche was worthy. The funny thing is, take the car off the rack, and drive it back on, and get a different reading again. Heck, just get in and out of the car on the rack, and the alignment changes.

I did a static balance on my trailer wheels.

I got my trailer tires balanced, then I put 4-6 oz. of antifreeze in each tire to dynamically balance them. I also use the antifreeze in my Toyota 4runner and Pathfinder. I have the Centramatics on my PSD. Dynamic balancers work great.

Definitely get your trailer tires balanced.
