Went back up to BESF on Sat 1/27, this time equipped with a winch and driving lights. There was an inch or two of snow on the ground, which was kinda nice on the forest roads - it made things a little more interesting. Trip highlights were the snow and a few scenic locations which included a couple of majestic overlooks. Covered alot of ground.

The temperature lingered in the upper 20's all day. It was cold topping off the fuel tank in the morning, but I didn't really notice it after that. It was kinda nice.
The trails that I explored were duds. None of them were the least bit technical, not very scenic, and many of them ended prematurely, at either a gate or a cabin. A little discouraging, but still a pleasant excursion.
My pictures aren't very interesting. With a coating of snow on the ground, alot of places looked the same. I ended up taking too many pictures of the Cherokee, but mostly to serve as a visual reference for photo-mapping.

I slid after going around a bend and bounced off the side. No harm, but it made me more cautious.
