Mount the diagonally from the top of the sleeper to the rear of the storage boxes?

I'm missing your point...

Please explain, because I hadn't even thought of mounting anything diagonally and it might work great.

Basically put a rack at a 45 degree angle from above the storage boxes already on the truck, to the top of the truck cab. I would think it woudl be easy to build, and it uses space thats not being used right now.
