Basic ambulance build

Sidewalk

Unlike some of you more talented folks, I'm going pretty simple.

Just picked up a 1995, 7.3 PSD, Type 3 Horton. Seems to be pretty sound mechanically, being a California rig helps. The insides aren't pretty, particularly the cab. I don't have any photos yet (except the one). Going to start going through and inspecting mechanical stuff, replace and repair as needed, then start living in it part time. Goal is to eventually live out of it, with a lot of trips to places to go ride my bikes or run. I can park at work which has a nice gym and shower facilities, and I mostly stay outdoors so I don't need anything fancy, and I won't be ON the road much, just a lot of shorter trips. Going to repurpose as much of the inside as possible since all the cabinets are so nice already. Not making solid plans on it until I start spending some nights inside and seeing what I need.

The beauty of the ambulance is how little work it takes to have a good, basic camper. I was on my first road trip within a couple weeks of picking mine up.
