Battery, Brake and A/T lights still on

Hello all.

Recently the alternator on my 2000 Mitsubishi Montero died. Before going out the three lights showed up (Battery, Brake and A/T). I rebuilt my oem alternator, recharged the battery and put it back in the car yesterday but these lights remain on. Any tips on how I can I get rid of them?

Thanks in advance.

A scan tool with the ability to erase codes should work.
It is hard to say why they are still on. Do they remain on after the engine starts?

Yes they do stay on. I let the car idle for around 10 minutes after installing the alternator and the voltage indicator feature on my radio stayed around 14.2-14.3 while running. So weird because when those lights came on the voltage would slowly drop.

I will scan the computer later and erase to see if that works. I also plan on deleting the alarm this weekend because the led/button for disarming it stopped working too when the alternator went bad.

Thanks.

I scanned the the computer today and there were no codes coming up. I decided to pick up a brand new alternator this afternoon at one of the chain automotive stores and will install it tomorrow to see if the rebuilt alternator is what is keeping the three lights on. Cheers .
