Battery Powered Lanterns

I've started using Craftsman 19.2v flourescent and LED lamps...I have plenty of batteries, can charge in the car, and they are durable (if heavy). Bright too.

I have one of the Rayovac LED lanterns Yudda recommends above, they last a long time and are super bright if you hang them upside down and remove the diffuser - works great in my tent.

i bought it and have been using it for a few months and have to agree.

very bright...incredible runtime.

picked one up from Lowes today. 25 bucks. Smaller then I envisioned but good light output.

Take a look at Black Diamond. They have a range of LED lanterns that are really nice. Super long battery life and they dim progessively.
