Cared for precisely they can last much longer than AGM.
But a lot easier to murder, especially sensitive to overcharging.
Most robust of all is FLA, best battery value by far is Duracell (actually Deka/East Penn) FLA deep cycle golf cart batteries, 2x6V, around $200 per 200+AH pair from BatteriesPlus or Sam's Club.
AGM is more expensive and doesn't last as ling.
All batts in a bank should be same mfg, model and mfg date.
