He's been importing from Japan and the Philippines for years but not sure if he ever exported to the states. It will be 25 yrs in a matter of months so you shouldnt have problems bringing it on your side of the border...

Dunno for certain how hard replacement parts are to get, but the Delica is around worldwide. I rode in one up from Osh to Irkishtam pass in '06, pretty darned nifty vehicle.

I've owned a few of these vans, although a bit underpowered they are amazing little trucks. I wouldn't be too worried for parts, these vans are very common here in BC and have been so for years so parts are readily available.
