That really is a smoking deal. The pop-top conversion alone will cost more than that.

If I wasn't already several thousand into my own van plus a couple thousand more into the Maggiolina for my DIY pop-top, I'd be on a plane right now.

Well, it really was a smoking deal. Even I couldn't resist emailing the seller. It seems there's already a deposit down and he expects to close today.

I hope it went to an Expo member.

Timing is essential in more ways than one

Take all the parts off it including the top and the roof reinforcement super structure, doors, front end etc, then drive it down to Cash for Clunkers and get the $4500 towards the wife's new Honda!

But of course it rarely works out that way.
