Just got home from the annual Memorial weekend trip to the Beartooths. Good times had by all, skied two days, camped two nights. Great weather...4 wheel camper was awesome, no problems at all and even got to crank up the heater the first night! Saw KCWYO but just missed him on the side of the road, he had just driven by when I was hiking out of the Gardner Headwall basin:( . Hopefully one of these days...sweet rig though, got a good look at it and was very impressed. Sorry we missed you KC, hope you had a good time. Here are a few photos, for those of you who haven't made this trip...do it. Really good 4x4 trails, great camping and you can ski all summer! Cheers

Nice set of pictures, Erod! Looks and sounds like a great time, indeed. It took me awhile to figure out what the gal was holding up. Thought it was a postcard or something at first before finally realizing it was a fish head!

I'm finally heading up through there for my first time in a couple of weeks for a brief visit. I know it is a place worthy of a much longer stay.

Sorry I missed you erod!

I must have sat on the hill and watched people skiing for an hour before I moved on. Couldn't help but wonder if one of the kamikaze skiers I was watching was you. Figures I'd just missed you by mere moments. Personally, I thought you had the best looking set up on the pass.

I spent most of my weekend in Yellowstone, dodging Bison, playing tour guide, listening to the wind and not taking very many photos. It was much warmer and with a lot less snow than last Memorial Day. The crowds were thicker too, I didn't even get to stay in my favorite part of the park. Still, it was great to be back in the area.

A couple of pics from the weekend -
