I really like seeing the behind the scene stuff when it comes to outdoor and nature photography, so how about a thread for posting videos of what goes into making those great outdoor shots that we all love so much.

Here's a couple I found today to get things started.

I watched the Tim Sheppard video (1st links was to Vimeo which is not iPhone friendly yet, sigh..). Anyway, WOW! Bordering on ILM coolness. Would love to know how much he billed for that "60 second shot", and who commissioned him to do it. Would have to have been a very sophisticated client to let him go for it, knowing it would take years to produce.

Weird, Vimeo vids work on my iPhone. Hmmm. Anyway, I think the BBC commissioned that bit for their series "Life." Same producers as Planet Earth I believe.

Those 2 videos are awesome. I had no idea how involved it is to create a shot like the plants sprouting and blooming.
