best bedliner for Flip Pac?

I am curious if there are benefits or disadvantages for differing types of truck bedliners (plastic, spray on, or none) for Flip Pac campers.
Thanks in advance for sharing your input/experiences.

Just my personal preference, but since most beds are ribbed and you end up standing or sitting in the bed a fair bit something to make the bed actually flat. So that often isn't a liner so much as some sort of a floor. Some folks put plywood or something down before building out the bed so that they can easily slide their build out (see Dave's build thread for an example). In my case I've actually got a raised floor in mine carpeted.

Anyway, not really an answer to your question - but my point was I think you probably need to decide how you are going to build out or otherwise use the bed before making a decision on lining or not and with what.

I had foam tiles from Home Depot in mine before. They were comfortable to walk/kneel on and provided some insulation. When I got hte Flippac, I got rid of the plastic bed liner (FRP recommended this for install) and put down some 1/2" plywood. The plywood lets me bolt my cabinetry and table down, so that's why I went this way. I've got 1/4-20 threaded inserts holding the furniture down. I can remove everything in about 20min if I need to haul something.

I also have a raised platform. I covered it with indoor/outdoor carpet from Lowes. If I did it over, I think I would glue down a cheap blue sleeping mat from Walmart and then glue the carpet on top of that.

Not a great picture or it, but you get the idea.

If you aren't building anything into the bed, definitely bed rug. It is smooth and comfortable, quieter and better insulated than anything else I've used.

I have 1 and 2/3 anti fatigue mats in my bed. They are made of a fairly soft thick rubber with holes. They are intended for commercial kitchens or workshops. The softness is nice when you kneel on them, and the holes let dirt, sand and debris drop through. They are 3'x3' as purchased, and I cut a foot off of one of them to fit my bed. They cost about $30 ea. from Home Depot or similar.

Another Bed Rug vote AND I carefully punched holes in it to line up with rivnuts and bolt my cabinetry down right through/on top of the bed rug. The way it evens out the bed corrugations, the warmth... It is VERY barefoot friendly and cozy. Even my gf comments on how comfortable/livable it makes the living space.

FYI if anyone has other cabinetry or flooring, they sell a universal flat bed rug. Cut to fit for about $100. This would actually be great stuff for a camper floor/rug, with some non skid material underneath.
