I was loving the idea of building a chuck box so I copied plans from the internet for a very basic one. It's fantastic but I'll never ever use it because of the weight! It weighs the same as a sheet of plywood 8'x4'....alot! And when the thing is filled with the cooker, plates etc...it's even more!

Back to the drawing board :-(

The ZARGES are still winning it for me with a lift out tray.

I'd love to find a chuck box built out of beryllium, but, so far, no luck...
