Mike,

It was a bold statement, probably too bold. I should have said we have tried "many" of the dual battery solutions that are available on the market. All the ones we tried we had to modify with the plasma cutter, there have also been issues with relocating components within the engine compartment, along with labor intensive installs. The one exception was the MORE system.

A plasma cutter??? What in the world went wrong?

I installed the Rugged Ridge in my 2010, no issues, and the MORE in my 2013, no issues there either.

In fact the MORE took longer to install, requiring very precise trimming of the plastic of the stock airbox mount and still just fits. I am not a huge fan of the webbing used to hold the batteries in place but haven't had any issues so far. The Rugged Ridge went in much easier and has a metal tie down, but they don't make one for the 2013+.

The Genesis tray looks nice but it was just coming on the market and I already had and prefer the NL Dual Battery Split Charge kit for the charging duties.
