Best water temperature for outdoor camp shower.

Wondering what temp I should turn off my water heater? 22 gallon fresh water tank to a lavatory faucet using a shur flow pump. From the faucet I go to a single burner Zoidi camp shower heater then back to the tank fill hose. Using an infrared temp monitor what temp should I stop it? I use the faucet hose to shower so there's no oportunity to adjust water temp once the shower is running. Will I hurt the shur flow? Should I be at one temp in the fall and hotter in the winter?

I see a solution looking for a problem.

Lacking 'Expo-mandantory gimmick factor, whats wrong with old school stick your finger in the water to know if its hot enough?
Are you trying to automate a hotwater system ?
ShurFlo should have 'specs for that pump max. temp. But I suspect its safe at least into 60s°
If you need accurate numbers, I think a contact with the liquid is better than IR sensing.

Fwiw, my household water is set at 45°C. Its just right for a shower, too hot for a bath.

I think I read some where 110 is considered the ideal for most

I read that as well but that may be for a tank sitting across a house. The 103 felt hot but I'm only 8' from the tank. Once the Zodi is plumbed in and heating I have no way to feel the water so I'll probe the tank with the IR temp probe. FWIW At full flow from the Sur Flow the temp gain is only 5-6 degrees out of the Zodi set on full blast. It took a while to heat the tank. That may be why the Zodi comes with a pump that is a mere trickle and you can't shut off the water with the burner going or it will scald you. It really sucked as a shower as I found out on a cold day in Colorado so I went to wash rag baths with the stove when it got cold. I can bathe with one 16 oz bottle of water if I have too but a blast from a hose will be nice every few days. I fiqure if I do it late in the day the stored heat in the tank will be recycled into heating the van in the evening. I have not calculated battery drain but that pump sounds like it's sucking up a lot of juice as it runs 20 minutes plus to heat the water. It is what it is but I may finally have a shower that will clean fast and warm enough that I can stand the cold air evening air.

I think that maybe using it as an on demand hot water system may be the wrong way to use the Zodi. I recirculate the water back to the bin it comes in till it is hot enough. Then turn off the heater which allows me to conserve propane and water. Then I can start and stop the flow of water without getting scalded. What if you made a one or two gallon reservior for the hot water that recirculates till the right temp then shut down the heater?

For about the same price as Zodi you can get an EccoTemp L5.
Its a real flow thru water heater that can easily build as a portable/mobile system.

Then if you happen to have watertap available, It can be switched over & used as intended for unlimited hotwater.

Confession, I use a L5 at my offgrid cabin, & love it. Best 120$ spent ever !
Looked at this concpet of a unit for my cabin in the past. Those are suppose to be outdoor (aka vent to open atmosphere) only units. don't recall what original posters intentions are indoor or outdoor. How do you use yours? What did you do to vent it if indoors?
