BETA Shell Cases...

Not a photographer myself but have a friend who is. Could anyone clue us in to if these are worth the purchase before we order for a gift? Thanks in advance.

I dont know why you'd want to use them? Just get a Pelican/Storm case to keep all the gear safe at the same time, rather than each individual lens.

Ah, didn't get an answer so I ordered him a few anyway. Pelican case would probably slow him down as he spends most of his time alpine style living out of his rucksack.

That might be a good thing for that sort of situation.

I guess if you were just carrying one or two lenses in a rucksack, then that would work perfectly
