Are they trying to sell a drinking glass for $1000? They keep saying, "just add water". If I need water, how do you suppose, can I just add water?

or a bit like Coke selling tap water, filtering it, adding a few minerals that they just took out, putting it in a bottle and selling as mineral water.....DASANI.....

I'd rather go thirsty than drink it and have them make money

Um... that's what every bottled water bottler does.

Not every one. Some dry up the local aquifer by pumping out their neighbor's water to bottle & sell (search water problems in Olancha, CA).
