I myself have been thinking of going to a MT from my BFG AT's. I have some uneven wear happening and I need to start from scratch because I really don't know how well the original owner of the truck rotated them. After reading a ton, driving through some challenging conditions, and also starting a similar thread. I am sticking with the AT's.
I have the 285/75/16. For me, and the conditions that I will drive my Tundra trough, Snow (early and late season), desert, highway, and off coarse mud (but not going out to get my truck stuck kind of mud) The AT's seam to do it all.
With that said, I will be having 2 sets of wheels and mounting some Yokohama I T GO72 stud less snow tires in a 285/75/16
nothing really does come close to a true snow tire. These will be my 1st studless.
