Big custom camper sightings

Indeed

Though seems almost unnatural to have so many in one place at one time. Kinda Duncan MacLeod, Highlander thing; "There can be only one.". Or in this case, only a 110, and should they ever be in the same spot all at once, it could disrupt the space time continuum, or at least, have a lot of fun with the locals.... They might think the Army National Guard is upgrading from Hummers. Ok, enough late night hilarity...or I hope someone thought this was funny.

What is on the hood of 2nd Earthroamer?

Hey Bill,
Curiosity got the better of me. On the sixth and last picture, there seems to be a black something-or-other on it's hood. Odd location and not tall enough for a snorkel, and doesn't seem to be shadow, either. Someone post a forward camera?
Inquiring minds....
Thanks.:snorkel:

It's a Go Pro

May be some kind of camera attachment

Yes, it is a temporarily mounted (suction cup) Go Pro HD video camera. http://gopro.com/products/?gclid=CMftysOvhKsCFeUZQgodOkofzw These are very cool and relatively inexpensive video cameras.

I have been so disappointed this summer. Living in a really beautiful part of the US, I usually see an Earthroamer or two driving around in my neck of the woods. But, nothing this summer.

Until this weekend, saw two driving together into Glacier National Park, actually captured a few pics.

One was a crew cab the other was a extended cab. Didn't get to talk to the owners.

They are definitely visiting Montana on the right week. We had gorgeous hike on the crown of the continent.

How long are the orignal LT campers? The Going to the Sun road has a 21' length limit. So the LT-S is definitely too long.

I am not sure I would want to drive one down the west side even if it is allowed. There are way too many rock overhangs very close to the right edge. Wouldn't want to customize the camper.

Yes I can see that there is absolutely no reason you should share those pics w/ the rest of us!:coffeedrink:

Earthroamers in Glacier

Here is a picture of the two EarthRoamers we saw in Glacier.

My kids thought the wife and I's enthusiasm was lame, but we had fun seeing them in person.

Glad to oblige bobDog. I knew I was going to take flack for not posting the pics right away, but I didn't have the camera with me when I posted last night.

I wish I would have looked at them more thoroughly in the parking lot, but I hate to be nosey and I also wanted to get to the pass to start our hike.

A great time to be in Montana.

It wasn't me, but I will be in Bellingham, in a LT, in a little over a week. Headed up to the Arctic Ocean!

That sounds like a great trip!

That was probably my husband and I. Northbound on I5, plain silver ER with 4 bikes on the back? We were just coming back from the Methow valley.

Could have been, I saw it briefly when I was on the freeway and didn't think about it really until I realized how large the truck actually was and that it had to be an ER. If you are ever going down I5 feel free to swing by our shop. I would love to check out an ER in person.
