anybody going to the Bill Burke's Day Class at the Anza Borrego Desert Nature Center on November 10th?
i know this is right before the Expedition Portal Rally (doh!) any SoCal guys planning on hitting it on the way out to AZ?

"November 10 - Anza Borrego Desert Nature Center, Borrego Springs, CA.

Part 1. THEORY CLASS - 9 a.m.-Noon. This course prepares you and your 4-wheel drive vehicle for safe travel in the back country. Bill Burke will go through various scenarios for safe and efficient vehicle self-recovery, and he will demonstrate various equipment and ways to use it safely. Learn which items and equipment you should carry in your vehicle to be fully prepared for a variety of back country situations.
Part 2. FIELD CLASS - 1-4 p.m. Bill will follow-up the class with a fun tour of the Desert State Park to some of the vantage points to build on the skills learned in the morning session. This will include driving the washes and hills, learning more about your vehicle, how to drive it safely and what the State Park has to offer."
FYI its $75 a person, which is a pretty good savings over most of his classes.
