Binocular mounting ideas?

Anyone have any cool ideas for mounting your binoculars in your rig? All i see online are these over priced marine baskets/cup holders that i can make myself. Too many times i find myself having to get out of the rig and grab my binoc's from the back passenger door. It would be nice to have them readily available nearby the driver area.

Dave,
I have one of these organizer things hanging off the back passenger seat that I got from Deluth - http://www.duluthtrading.com/store/...px?feature=P7876-C65821-L2&processor=content#
I keep the binocs on top of all the crap I put in it and it's an easy reach over from my driver seat. It's real handy for storing maps and magazines and all sorts of stuff. I also keep a few water bottles in the side pocket that I can grab while driving.

The thing holds a lot of stuff.

I have Steiners with the attached lens cap, they ride in a center hump organizer from CaseLogic I got at Walmart. Along with a 8-cell dive lantern and my mechanics gloves...

On our work trucks we stuck a large (3" x 10") piece of soft side velco in the middle of the dash, farily close to the windshield. Then we used two small
1/2" circles of hard side velco onto the binocs, one on each tube. We can have two sets of binocs up there and the stay put and wouldn't slide around. We have to replace the velco every two years or so as the sun wrecks it.
