has any one gone and looked at this? I recently traveled to costa rica with the wife we rented and 3 door Land Cruiser prado and she loved it. I think this is as close as we are going to get in the states?..... If anyone checks this out would be interested is pretty cheap

Indeed, sounds cheap. The 3B engine is easily capable of twice that mileage if well cared for (fluid and filter changes, valve adjustments, etc.). The tranny is pretty tough too (4 or 5 speed). Rust is indeed the killer in those mid-80's Cruisers. Russian River eh? Would have liked to visit the place when I holidayed in SF a few weeks ago, but didn't have time.
Yeah, would be a good deal for someone.

It'll be an H55F 5 speed. A BJ70 with a really rusty body AND a rotted frame would be a B I G project.
