BLACK ROCK RENDEZVOUS, 2018

As I do every year during the Memorial Day weekend, I attended the Black Rock Rendezvous on the playa in northwestern Nevada. There are always a lot of fun activities, outings, service projects and presentations. There's even a big Dutch oven cook-off each year (I've won twice before).

I always enjoy reading your trip reports. I was hoping you'd start up again after your 2017 hiatus.

I'll be heading to Black Rock next weekend for a quick trip, hoping the playa is dry enough by then.

I was out that way over memorial met the guy on the moped at Brunos. He road that damn bike from Southern California LOL. We met few others out their for the rendevous. We stayed at the Ivenson Ranch just down the road from where you were and was treated with a spectacular thunderstorm until around midnight. From their I headed to Cedarville the next day via some very sloppy dirt roads
