Bolt-on portals land cruiser axles

I got a set of portal-tek axles I will sell, good to over 500hp and 44" tires. Super beefy.

Even starting with a completely blank sheet of paper, I think portal axles present some interesting issues and design challenges.
I am still leaning toward the fact that bigger tire would be less of a headache than a portal conversions.
It would be fun to test out some of the ideas and issues.
 
Are those Volvo's body on frame or unibody?

The Volvo pictured is a one off. Not sure what they did to that. The Volvo portals are off of a Volvo C303:

marks 4wd adapters in Australia have just got Australia road approval for Landcruiser portals. Shame I need both kidneys, because I'm going to have to sell both of them to afford it!

I know right? At $15000 american dollars, I could buy a fairly nice Porsche for that amount, or take a vacation around the world, or make my own cocaine and prostitutes reality show, or cocaine and prostitutes documentary, or buy all the building materials to build a really nice shop, or pay down on my student loans, or pay down on my children's college funds, or start up a business, or flee to Canada due to this years presidential candidates, etc.
