Bomonsters 2001 LX470 build thread

This is my first 100 seriers. Got it last year at 165K and been working at it slowly and steadily.

- Fixed the RH Exhaust Manifold.
- Took care of clunking exhaust pipes with some welding
- Got 285/75/R16 Cooper Discoverer AT3's. So far very happy with these.
- Got Wethertech Mats
- Got a new Gobi Stealth Rack
- ARB 2500 Awening (Love it)
- Topped up the AHC Fluid res
- Working on the drawerbuild

Now comes the to do part

General Up to Date Maintenance for a 150K plus car

- AHC Flush
- Diff Flush
- Tranny Flush
- Brake Flush
- Power Steering Flush
- Heater Hose T's
- Timing Belt
- Wires and Sparkplugs
- LH Exhaust Manifold (Started ticking last week )


Future Mods (As per the queen's approval)
- ARB Combo Bumper (03+ LC for LX470 with sawing off the tabs and horns)
- 40inch LED Light
- Foldable Sleeping Platform (Cant do Roof top tents for now as I have two Kayaks to Lug around)
- Drawers with Telescoping Kitchen Setup in 30 secs.
- Dual Battery vs ArkPak + Solar (Not Decided yet)
- Wiring irrespective of approach for power
- Recover Gear (HiLift Jack + Gobi Mount) and WARN 9000
- ARB Rear bumper (Tire and Jerry Can Swing out)
- Snorkel
- Have not decided on the suspension to rip ot AHC or Not ? Confused state for now.

Nice! Your drawers are looking good. What did you get for drawer slides?

The plan is to get three 500lb slides. The left will become telescoping kitchen setup. With stove sliding the farthest and prep surface and storage.
