Bought a used Yakima skybox, but cannot open it on one side...

Hi, I purchased a used Yakima skybox (no idea of the year or model) for a song. The issue is that I cannot open it from one side (the passenger side - which is the side I would like to open it from). The rotating handle is embedded in the surrounding plastic and I cannot get it to pop out. There is no lock cylinder in the handle.

I can open the other side. But on this side the handle has broken off completely and so I just stick it in as far as I need it to go and turn. So I don't know how it "normally" operates.

Here is a picture of the handle.

Does anyone have any ideas how this operates or how I can get it to open?

Thanks!

Thanks so much for the really quick reply!

It is super handy to be able to look at the manual and that is greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, though, the manual does not solve my specific problem. The handle is recessed in the plastic housing and i cannot figure out how to get it to pop out so that I can rotate it. I suspect that somehow it was "locked" in place but there is no lock cylinder in the handle. On the other side the handle has fallen out and so I can insert it manually just enough to rotate and unlock the entire box. But this side appears to be locked in place even though there is no lock cylinder.

Aha! I figured it out. There is a small hole in the base of the handle (you can see it at the bottom of the cylindrical hole where the lock goes in the above photo). If you can get a small scewdriver or something in there you can rotate that plate (rotate it around its axis - i.e. if you drew an axis that went straight down into this cylindrical lock hole, rotate around that axis) and the handle pops out. That is what the locking cylinder probably does.

In any event, the handle is out, the skybox opens from the correct side now.

Thanks to Herbie for supplying me with the manual as well. Super handy.
