So the family CFO (aka the wife) has rolled out some budget cuts and the trailer build has suffered a seriously reduced budget and instructions to get this finished and ready to go for the fall.
So with that being said, I need to build the electrical in stages. Reading hour after hour of threads and all the various components and options makes my head want to explode.
To try and simplify this I want to start with a 12v system only that can charge/run on shore power with AGM single battery. This fall we will most likely be going to campgrounds with shore power and My rig is not complete. I just really want to get it out there and figure out what I like and what needs improvement before i Skin the inside and finish it up. This gives me flexibility to add electrical components, etc
My list of 12v items
LED lights - reading, galley, outside, underneath cabinets, hanging in the canopy tent en
Fantastic Fan
Sureflow water pump
USB chargers, 12 volt plugs to charge phones, computer, camera gear
Coffee pot ?
Items to maybe add in the future
clip on fan for nightime air movement
What component do I need to manage the power coming to a fuse panel and to charge the battery?
Thank you for the help in advance
Future could be adding solar, or charging from the tow vehicle or AC inverter or maybe none of it. I do want the flexibility to have an ac plug in the event we want a fridge or induction plate but who knows if I really want those items either.
