BRAKE CALIPER OPTIONS

So, it turns out I'm dragging a front brake abit. And if I need to replace a caliper I figure I might as well take the opportunity to look into upgrades to the brake system. I'm slightly peeved as at 85k I would not expect to have 1 go bad, oh well. Anyway, I'm curious on anyones thoughts: it looks like the dynatrac system may be the most appealing to me, as I'm slightly leery of impacting the ABS system with changes to the piston size or master cylinder (Teraflex). I've also seen the 'BR6' method which uses MOPAR parts. All of the above appear to require a new wheel or spacers, which I don't really want to ante up for at the moment.

Thanks, Cheers,

If you have bigger tires and at least 17" wheels I would consider the larger brake disk for increased stopping power to compensate for what you have lost (especially since the stock stopping isn't great)

I think the Dynatrac kit looks to be a great option to gain more braking torque with minimal work required for installation (you don't have to crack the hydraulics open!).

Have you tried rebuilding the caliper? I'd be surprised if you couldn't make it as good as new
