brake controller install and questions

i have the Tekonsha p3 im installing right now. i noticed it says i should use a auto reset braker (either 20 or 30amp) have a built in fuse block id like to use
with 30 amp fuses already there. can i just use a normal fuse or do i need to buy the auto reset type? This will be for my canadian m101 camper trailer so im not too concerned about what would happen if the fuse blew (the truck can still stop the trailer) any suggestions?

Nah, you can use a regular fuse. The difference is obviously the fact you will have to manually replace if you blow versus it automatically re-setting its self. Just make sure you use the correct gauge wires.

I went from the Prodigy to the p3 and haven't regretted it at all! It's one awesome controller and IMHO there's nothing better out there.

What about ATC circuit breakers to fit your existing panel? IIRC, they are about $5.00 for a 30 amp.
