Brake light???

Was wondering if any of you guys with 01-04 Tacomas have ever had the dash brake light come on and off, especially in cold or wet weather?
I have been noticing it doing it since coming back from the Expo. At first I thought it was the e. brake handle sensor, but that seems fine, as well as all wheels and sensors.
Was just wondering if anyone has experienced this, going to stop by the dealer this weekend.

Top off your brake fluid... it needs to be all the way up to the full line. Also check for leaks and wear... fluid went somewhere...

No Taco here, but I had the same issue with my Trooper, and I found that my fluid was a bit low. After topping it off the light went away.

My '85 used to do that too when the brake fluid was low. So, do what everyone else says!

Also check your parking brake, sometimes the cable needs to be adjusted. Push in on the lever to see if the light goes off.

Prolly has no bearing on your problem, but the early Yot's had the charge and brake light come on when the Alt was failing...been there done that.

Same thing happens to me... like the guys said, it's just low brake fluid. All it takes is about 2 tablespoons worth.

Put in the fluid and don't worry about it. :sunflower

Thanks guys, I will check the fluid level closer, I looked, but not real well.
I remember from my 89 on the brake/eng light for the alternator, but this is just the brake light. Hopefully all it is is the fluid level.
