i figured this section would be the best bet for answers even though its not for a trailer, so forgive me for that. Anyways im going to add an extra set of brake/tail lights to my rear bumper since it kinda covers the stock lights. im looking for flush mount lights around 3 inch diameter. Just wondering what most of u guys are using in your builds, how u like them, and where u got them. Obviously less expensive is better as i might smash them eventually. Ive looked at the one at tractor supply.....where else would be go to look? thanks in advance guys

a 3" brake light is going to be hard to find, you would be better off using a 4" that goes into a press fit gromet that will mount in a 4.5" hole. easy to replace, easy to install, you just need the right size hole saw. Also you can get them in LED so they are bright and dont burn out.
ya i was looking at that, problem is my bumper is only 4 inches tall so i cant use something that big. i think im gunna go with some led long oval/rectangular lights(like 2inchs X 4 or 5 inches). now just to find the best price on a set
ya length really isnt much of a factor as height is. just want to get something half decent that can atleast getting put in some water. alot of them that im seeing are submersible so thats a big plus

I know it's not exactly what you're looking for, but some of you might find this ultra-small license plate light and 3rd brake light useful for your builds.
