I would never put new pads on a vehicle without either A) new rotors, or B) turned rotors.

I'm not a fan of EBC's either, but my experience goes the other way. I used some of their high performance compound on a performance car, and they were horrible. They couldn't take any heat and completely disintegrated quickly.

Planning on having the rotos checked. Not skimping because of cost I could have gotten cheaper pads but I chose these.

Thanks.

I have put new pads on old rotors without issues, other than they are more prone to squeaking.

If you do put new pads on old rotors, be sure to chamfer/sand the outside and inside edge of the pad where it would come in contact with the lip of the rotor.

Also, it is a good idea to quickly sand the new pads before installing them.

If you do get new rotors, remember to use brake cleaner liberally on them before you install the rotors to clean off the oil/protectant that they come shipped with.

Apply some anti-squeal to the backs of the pads. You get squeal from the pads vibrating in the calipers.
