Building first chuck box and storage for XTerra

Ok, meds taking effect so not sure I posted this...
Needed storage for our XTerra and also wanted to build a chuck box. These are woodworking projects #1 and #2.... Just learning...




Chuck box....will fit to the right of the ice chest....


....and a trip to the ER with a drill bit in the finger...

Had not thought of carpet until you mentioned it.....will have to find the stuff they use for stereo boxes
