Dayum, those extenders are usually intended to tow small to medium boats or atv's, that guy earned the Darwin award and should have his license taken away before his idiocy kills someone.
Well even if a boat trailer comes with an extender ,It is only to be used to launch the boat . You install it at the boat ramp so the boat and trailer go farther and deeper into the water . Used on Sail boats mostly . But what about the cost of not learning the first time ? no way you could talk this through warranty .Especially twice
There's a difference between a "truck camper hitch extender" and an "extender for a boat trailer".Google " truck camper hitch extender" and familiarize yourself with what the extender actually is.
Well I apologize ,I did not mean to be insulting or mouthing off . I guess I have become confused as the comments are bouncing back and fourth between . Truck extender and trailer extender .I will attempt to follow closer and comment less in the future . I am here to lean , but would like to think I could give something back . Let's go back to topic pleaseThere's a difference between a "truck camper hitch extender" and an "extender for a boat trailer".
The first one goes on the "truck". The other one goes on the trailer. Maybe you should "familiarize" yourself with the difference before mouthing off to someone who said "Even if a boat trailer comes with an extender [...]"![]()
That's a killer break over angle for a loaded dually with a trailer.
I became confused as the conversations were going back and forth between truck and trailer .the comment on Monday at 11:51 Refers to ( Those extenders ) This became Truck camper hitch extenders after my comment . If I had understood it was the truck ,I would not have made the comment .I have owned and used both . I just would like to add .I don't think any one would or should blame the Ford trucks for such abuse by the owner .Not asking you to comment less. I was just giving back what I thought you dished out.
