And so many styles..

Ive been searching the threads for examples of what bars are available.

It would be an huge help to have a collection of photo's, and comments on one thread.
(similar to "canter rims" thread)

For me a winch bar is essential

Thanks

Does anyone know who makes this bull bar?????
That bullbar was custom made by ATW for their Warrior motorhome (pictured).
As far as I know, ATW no longer make their own bullbars, as all of the current model trucks have air bags and the certification for making a bullbar "air bag compatible" is to complicated.
If you have an older, non air bag truck then I am pretty sure they could fabricate a bullbar like the one above for you.

As of yesterday, this truck is for sale. I never thought this would happen however there was a death in the family and this is a touchy subject so if anyone interested please call me at ATW . I saw it only a few months ago and it is in absolutely mint condition. Big fuel/water tanks, front/rear hydraulic winches, 3kva built in genset, Aircon, sat TV, gas stove/oven/hot water, microwave, 4x Stratos seats, big ensuite, hydraulic dual spare wheel lifter, 3" ss exhaust, chip, 305/70/19.5 tyres, dual electric awnings, very trick suspension, long wheelbase, full length roofrack with walk-on solar laminates, etc, etc, etc, etc, far too much to list. Regards John.

And Owen is correct in what he says about ATW making that bar. We did about 4 variations of it back then. stopped doing them when airbags were introduced in 08/09. Not sure if we still have the templates for that bar though. By the way it was ally and the cab tilt clears the bar which makes life very easy. Here's a couple more pics.

Hi whatcharterboat,
I have an '09 FG84 no air-bag
This is the style of bar Im looking for. With winch compatibility.
I like the way it is well forward of the grill and directs the unlucky animal DOWN.
Would you consider releasing the template, if you have it, so I can fabricate locally.
Thanks
Andrew

This may be a side benefit of that design, but I believe the primary reason is that the cab can be tilted without tilting the bulbar.
Nearly everyone that I know that has an Isuzu or Fuso with a bullbar (me included) has at one point in time tilted the cab without lowering the bullbar, resulting in getting dents in the cab. The above design is very good for avoiding this situation.
So I did not do this again I went to the extreme of installing an "idiot warning system" on my cab, which warns me audibly if undo the cab latch before lowering the bullbar. http://canter4x4.com/technical/cab-tilt-warning-system/
