The front is a little more bulky than I like, but that is how he wanted it.

I agree. I'd really like to see something like the bumper you built for your Tacoma, and the 4Runner offered for our Tundras. Less is more!
Gotcha. Pretty easy to swap out for a smaller one? I think that would be a no brainer if it got me a cleaner bumper. I'll have a look at mine in the morning.
Lots of "beef"! Any issues on the suspension from the added wait? You planning on putting a hoop in the front like the runner? Overall, looks great.
That was the first bumper I built for the tundras. I'd like to mess around with some different designs but I guess I need some more test dummies. Paying test dummies of course.
I might be able to get you a couple of 1 gen test dummies. I'd take the offer but, my tube bumper is pretty much welded to the frame. Grass Valley right? I'm about 1.5-2 hours from you. East Bay Area. Any interest in fabbing up some tube doors for our 1gen's?
The light bar is a cheep eBay 30in single row. I have a rigid 20in double row and mine is way brighter, I think my truck weight is about 4800 how you see it. I tried to cut weight where ever possibleDo you know which light bar is on the Tundra? I like the simline look. I agree with the excess bulk on the Tundra, I would love the exact bumper from our Tacoma, Upsized to Tundra size. I'm wrapping up more important projects in the shop now, and hope to tear into my truck next month and see what I can come up with. Again, fantastic work. I am still drooling over your DC and all the work you did with it. What's it weigh, with the full rack and shell, etc?
