Bumper for first gen xterra

Hey guys!

I am trying to figure out what bumper I am going to buy in the spring for my first gen, and I came across this one, not sure how much it will cost me to get across the boarder (I live in Canada) but it seems to be a good price to me...
has anyone had any expirence with this one at all??

It does not say who makes it, but that might be because i am blind and didn't see it....

how would this unit compair to...say a ARB bumper wich i can get for about $1100 all expenses....

Shrockworks is reported to be top notch bumper. I used to have an ARB on my Frontier-identical to Xterra. The mounting on the ARB used the stock holes in the frame and to loops under the frame up front. The portion of the bumper that mounted to the tow loops dragged on absolutely everything. So I had a tube bumper built. That's the only thing I did not like about it.

It takes to long to get a shorksworks bumpers. They are nice but not that nice.

I have heard of tonnes of good things about them
I didn't know 4x4parts were distributing them though... well i guess I got the answer i was looking for:

You might have a look at CalMini as well.

I have a bunch of their stuff (including both bumpers) on my XTerra and I'm pretty happy with it all.

FWIW, you might have to wait regardless of who the mfg is.

Check Kennesaw Mountain Works as well. They used to have problems with quality, but several Gen2 guys have tried them and had great luck lately. Calmini, Shrock, ARB, and KMW are the major manufacturers of the bumpers that I know of.

Nothing beats a Shrock. ARB uses thinner metal and hangs lower. Kennesaw I have heard nothing but bad about, just look anywhere on online and you'll run into horror stories. They don't make a winch bumper for 1st gens anyway.

Kennesaw's bumpers look slapped together.... not a huge fan, but thanks for letting me know about them...
starting to think that the Shrock is looking like it could be the winner

For the 1st gens, I've heard that. For the 2nd gens, several guys have had very good luck with them. Maybe they've turned the corner? I don't argue that Shrock has the best look - it's just that their delivery time and related concerns seem to be excessive. I'd like to actually see a KMW in person prior to buying - but honestly, I'd chase down someone like Norshor and see if he'd build me one first prior to any of these folks.
